Small Scale Cinema Equipment Grants – Fund closed for new applications
Applications are currently being accepted for equipment and venue improvements
This new scheme follows on from the successful digital equipment funds operated by HI~Arts and by Scottish Screen during 2009 and is intended to assist cinemas, film clubs, community groups, and other bodies seeking to present a planned annual programme of screenings in remote, rural, coastal or other non-metropolitan under-provided community.
The fund is intended to support Regional Screen Scotland's aim to increase and improve access to the cinema experience across Scotland.
Grants are available up to a maximum of £5,000 per organisation. The total fund for 2010-11 is £50,000.

Local film festivals & audience development grants – Fund closed for new applications
This scheme is intended to assist film festivals, cinemas, film clubs, community groups, and other bodies seeking to present a public film festival or similar unique events or audience development activities. Tours of film festival programmes to rural and remote areas may also be eligible for support.
